Welcome to my journey. I am B, owner and creator of Cat N Muse. Part of my inspiration is my cats. Sadly my two girls have passed, but they continue to live on in my heart. They are the muses behind my black cat art. My work comes from a deeper, even spiritual level, but my inspiration comes from what touches my soul. Art in any form should be an experience that reminds us creation is inspiration all around us. For me it is a level of expressionism that embraces the human emotion within.
As I have shared, my cats are major influencers of Cat N Muse. I have always had cats and even been involved with a group that aids and cares for cat colonies. My cat art is my way of capturing the personality and beauty of black cats as they tend to be viewed negatively.

By definition, a muse is a person or personified force which is the source of inspiration for a creative artist. I can only say that that barely scratches the surface. Creation comes from a deeper level that vibrates from within our soul. It’s an unlimited, indescribable form of expressionism extracted from our very essence. My muse work comes from that deeper, spiritual level of inspiration.
This part of my journey began with a change of medium. Being fascinated with the Industrial, Victorian and Western style of the Steampunk phase…I found myself creating sculptures. But I did not stop there. I wanted my pieces to make a statement and tell their stories; so I incorporated them into my paintings.
